Genesis 47:15-17

¹⁵ When the money of the land of Egypt and the land of Canaan was gone, all the Egyptians came to Joseph and said, “Give us bread! Why should we die while you are watching? We do not have any more money.”

¹⁶ Joseph answered, “If you do not have any more money, give me your animals and I will give you bread in exchange for the animals.” ¹⁷ They therefore brought their animals to Joseph, and Joseph gave them bread in exchange for their horses and sheep, their oxen and their donkeys. That year he fed them with bread in exchange for their animals.
